1. Payment Processing
All payments, including rental charges and the required security deposit, are processed securely through our payment processor, Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards, Prepaid Cards are NOT Allowed. Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
2. Security Deposit
A $150.00 USD security deposit is required for every vehicle rental. This deposit is held (not charged) on your card through Stripe at the time of booking or prior to vehicle pickup.
The deposit serves as a guarantee against:
- Damage to the vehicle during the rental period
- Outstanding toll fees (including any applicable penalties)
- Unpaid rental charges or extensions
3. Deposit Release Timeframe
Once the vehicle is returned and inspected, and after confirming that:
- There are no damages
- All toll charges have been accounted for and paid
- There are no outstanding balances
…the deposit hold will be released within 48 to 72 business hours.
Please note:
- Deposits released during weekends or public holidays may take additional time to appear on your bank statement.
- The time it takes for the funds to reflect in your account depends on your bank’s internal processing times, which are beyond our control.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by your financial institution after the deposit is released on our end via Stripe.
4. Important Notice
Customers are encouraged to verify their bank’s processing time for held funds. Any claims or disputes regarding delayed availability of released deposits should be directed to the bank or card issuer.
